Rethinking Stroke Prevention

Together with our client apoplex medical, we set out to rethink stroke prevention — not by focusing on a single product, but by shaping a connected ecosystem around their cutting-edge technology. Our role: translating this technology into a product vision and user-centered solutions that are practical, scalable, and focused.

apoplex medical is working on a wide range of innovations in stroke prevention and ECG monitoring. Given the many possible applications, we recommended starting with a clear focus: identifying one use case, delivering tangible value, and scaling from there.

As a first step, we developed a Product Vision in close collaboration that aligns technology, design, and user experience. We validated this vision through usability testing, starting with hospital scenarios, to ensure the product works where it’s needed most.

This enables apoplex to:

• Align internal and external stakeholders around a clear vision

• Brief manufacturing partners efficiently

• Plan product development and market launch timelines with clarity
